Joanna (Jo) Solid
Fundamentals & Nutrition Coach
Joanna (known as Jo) has four years experience coaching functional training classes. She leads our Fundamentals Program for new members, and she works one on one with members who want to improve their nutrition. She is recently married to Jared and has a background in planning sporting events. Jo loves working hard to encourage others to take their fitness to the next level, and she always wears a smile.
A Message From Jo:
I started training using functional movements during high school as I was pursuing pole vaulting, and my life has never been the same. Why workout in the gym alone when you can workout alongside friends who push and encourage you to be better? I choose community, and that's why I love CrossFit. I am intrigued by new challenges and adventures, so the ever-changing workouts allow me (and others around me) to set high goals then work together to reach them. And, I love celebrating member's accomplishments, seeing members do things they said they couldn't do, and seeing their smile when they reach their goals.
Favorite WOD: "Mary" - 20 Minute AMRAP of 5 handstand push-ups, 10 pistol squats, 15 pull-ups
