Claire Fetter

Claire has been at CrossFit Resurgens since 2012 and became CrossFit L-1 certified in 2015. She also hopes to earn her L-2 certification soon. Her passion is nutrition, especially how it can impact one's performance both in and out of the gym. She is currently the office manager for a local physical therapy clinic, Athletes' Potential, which allows her to see and learn first-hand valuable movement and mobility based exercises to apply to her coaching. Claire loves the opportunity to help people from all different types of fitness backgrounds achieve their goals and accomplish things they didn't think were possible.

A Message from Claire:

I started CrossFit after my father opened up his own CrossFit box in the early 2000's. Coming from a history of under eating and over exercise, CrossFit was the perfect mix of a challenge, competition, and eventually the knowledge of how to fuel my body properly for optimum performance. I love seeing people accomplish a task when they think they are incapable - whether that PRing a lift, setting a faster WOD time, or mastering a new gymnastics skill.

The community that comes with CrossFit's "suffering together" approach is an invaluable part of its success. CrossFit has also changed my life for the better: I'm faster and stronger than I have ever been; I have made so many friends, many of whom are like family; and I met my husband (an ultra runner, haha!). I can't say enough good things about Dorian and our community at CrossFit Resurgens. I think their motto does it best: "More than a gym, more than a workout."
