April Ditto Prokop
As a former long time competitive gymnast and SEC track and field athlete, I've always been driven by competition. I have been a Level 1 certified crossfit coach for almost 5 years now. Our family is amazing and we are so blessed everyday. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and we have 2 awesome toddlers- 2 and 3. Being a mom to our kids is my favorite thing I've ever done. They're my proudest accomplishment.
A Message from April:
I started crossfit looking to have more fun working out. I like the competitive nature and the relationships that come from sweating every day next to the same people. You can't build better friendships then what you find in a crossfit gym- you see people's true character and what they're built from in their core. I love seeing people push themselves beyond limits they don't even know they had- and then trying to go a little more. This builds a strength and a confidence that you can't get anywhere else. I love to coach. I love to learn and I love to teach. Sharing knowledge helps us make each other better- wether it's being a little more efficient in a movement or getting a movement rxd for the first time. Seeing people get better makes my soul happy. Seeing their joy and excitement gets me jacked up every time. I get to see and help people improve themselves everyday- and to be a part of that, it's just an amazing feeling.
Any workout that doesn't include the following: running, wallballs, double unders, chest to bar pull ups, toes to bar, muscle ups, if it Takes longer than 12 minutes, heavy dead lifts, squat cleans, over head squats and Snatches
So let me sum up- it looks like I'd like anything with rowing (kinda), handstand push ups and power cleans.
There is only one way to succeed at anything and that is to give it everything.
